About the role
- Machine operation: Processing of product in accordance with the production schedule and SOP for product manufacture
- Advising the Supervisor when maintenance is required or reporting a fault
- Manufacture and packaging of potential and existing products
- Operate and maintain small batch production equipment; weigh, measure and check raw materials - Ensure that manufactured batches contain the proper ingredients and quantities
- Maintain records
- Clean production areas to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
- In-process testing to make sure that batches meet product specifications
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the final approval of products the production cycle including re-worked product
- Coordinates production plans with Operations Manager
- Coordinates with all departments
- Assist in R & D duties as required
About you
- Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks. Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the team
